L. Stephen Buchanan, DDS, FICD, FACD
Known for his multimedia presentations, 3-D anatomy research, articles, and instrument designs, Dr. L. Stephen Buchanan is a leading expert in the field of endodontics. Through his continuing education company, Dental Education Laboratories, Dr. Buchanan regularly teaches limited-attendance hands-on courses in Santa Barbara, and presents one-day participation programs at locations across the U.S. He also lectures extensively to both domestic and international audiences. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and a fellow of the International and American Colleges of Dentistry. He also serves as an adjunct clinical professor at the University of Pacific School of Dentistry and the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. Dr. Buchanan lives in Santa Barbara, California, where he continues to develop his unique system-based approach to endodontic treatment, and maintains a private practice, limited to endodontics.
